The station looks like it was built at least 50-60 years ago so it may be a contaminated brownfield and the developers of Vancouver House maybe didnt wanna take it on or will at a later date. Aside from that, the building looks like it would make a cool microbrewery or restaurant with large covered patio where the cars drove under the roof.  |
I think that would be a great idea. Once the Vancouver House project is all done then this place (as an unpretentious and very informal eating and drinking establishment) could be a popular alternative. In the same way that the Kingston Hotel bar will be an easygoing place for the new residents of Telus Garden to go to when they just want to have some beers with their friends and watch a game.
