The FF on Dakota is so old, small and outdated I can't imagine that any major player would want it for a location... although the site is good and it's conceivable that Overwaitea could buy it and demolish the existing building to make way for a new one.

But I agree with what you're saying in that it's weird that Overwaitea is coming here... I don't know what they could really do other than snag locations in new suburbs as they pop up (much like how Sobey's entered the Edmonton market). The existing parts of the city are already pretty well covered with grocery stores.
