The house certainly has some mid-century modern elements, but even with a traditional roof it doesn't seem like a clear example of Art Moderne or any other particular architectural style (maybe a little international style and bauhaus). If the roof was replaced and redesigned in the 70's it still has spent a decade longer with its current mediterranean elements than its original roof, so it would be strange if Heritage Regina required the original style of roof to be installed as part of any restoration that the owners would have to undertake, at this point in history.
Would be interesting to see any archived photos of this house for comparison...
