Not really.
Though it was built in a field, ctc was close to a significant residential population. I lived a 10 minute drive from it. The issue was from the east and south Enders who had much longer commutes to a game. There was also significant corporate presences in Kanata. It was still a viable location.

No one is close to the airport here.
