Nope.
Just like Target remodelled Zellers stores.
And Eaton's and Sears - somewhat - remodelled stores for eatons and Eatons.
It's just branding.
But it's off topic to discuss retail failure...

Pic by me today.
The different lines created by the variation in height of the awnings and spandrels bugs me a bit (as on the Robson side, too).
You can see the anchor points for the vertical "Nordstrom" blade sign. It won't be as big as the previous EATON'S / SEARS sign, because of the office space above. Hopefully it'll be big enough to be prominent on the massive building.
