I did a short tour around central downtown and had a couple of observations:
- The area is really bustling with al the great weather this week.
- Conexus has a promo set up on the Plaza. I think this is a good use of the Plaza, within reason. I assume they have a permit and pay a fee to the City.
- Drywalling is virtually complete at Twenty10. The extremely high ceiling has been painted black, so no, they will not be dropping the ceiling.
- The Park is a mess with all the dead grass from the skating rink and the Grey Cup Festival.
- The TD Building is undergoing a re-cladding/re-glazing. It is not yet clear if they are changing the look from the classic Mies van der Rohe style copied from the Seagram Blg in NYC and the TD Centre in T.O.
