The original Hotel Georgia design
WAS approved by the city. The developer Allied Holdings didn't get the height increase to 600ft that it was looking for but it was approved at over 500ft. The developer ended up selling the site to Seattle based developer Goodman Real Estate and they subsequently came up with there own plans for the site.
