I'm not sure that's James N. It looks more like King street to me or perhaps Market near James. Not sure.

I think it is actually James North. The buildings are on the East side of the street between what is now Wilson and Rebecca. Taken before the Federal Building was built. The last building in the row looks like the one that is at James and Wilson.
