There are going to be 70,000 people living in Holmwood. I simply think that the city is underestimating how busy of an interchange McOrmond and College is going to be. The whole point of an interchange, in my opinion, is to move large numbers of vehicles efficiently, while minimizing areas where cars have to come to a complete stop. Going with a single loop design instead of a dual loop (like exists at Attridge and Circle, College and Circle, and 51st and Idylwyld) means that there are off ramps with left-turn traffic signals where cars have to stop, wait and go. I would just rather see an interchange built at this location where traffic can flow more seamlessly.
