The only way this would make sense is if they are talking about a Tanger style factory outlet centre. This could be a regional draw. If they are talking about a standard big box development then this proposal is daft. It is too far from the isocenter of metro Halifax's population base and would be unnecessary competition for both DC and Bayer's Lake.
