So now on top of the $351 million in tax dollars spent to build this thing another $70 million loan (which will never be repaid) is going into the abyss called the CMHR. That is now $421 million for those of you who like numbers and for those who still think spending a sum this large on something the public has no appetite for and could have been more wisely spent elsewhere in the city.
Two questions for Gail and the other CMHR proponents, when Gail said the CMHR would never come back to any level of govt. for more funds was she holding her fingers crossed behind her back and secondly, how much in private donations were really raised and that answer would be NOT VERY MUCH, this damn thing was built on lies that funding was in place! |
