As you said, Magna Main Street fits the bill. There are a bunch of charming old buildings, but also the new Magna Library, the new Magna Senior Center, the restored Empress Theatre, the Kiwi Bakery, Post Office, Transwest Credit Union, Magna Water District, Magna Chamber of Commerce, Magna Times, Magna Mining Museum, Fire Dept., 2 churches (neither LDS—although one of the buildings was a former pioneer-era LDS church), Colosimo's deli (maker of famous Colosimo's sausages), Veterans of Foreign Wars lodge, gas stations, dentist's office, salon, art studio, funeral home, car wash, a newer apartment complex that has its entry on Main, auto repair shops, police dept, bars, fast food and sit down restaurants, etc.

One block off Main St. is a huge park and a private golf course.
