Yep.

Urban Design 101 right there. Sadly and frustratingly this has still yet to become the norm in new subdivisions within Canada. As we begin to pay more attention to the benefits of urban design I think this will become standard but as of now it's still rare.

That being said, they look great. That being said....we still have a long ways to go with respect to building complete neighbourhoods. I think this is a step in the right direction but Harbour Landing still lacks in other aspects (walkability, mix of uses, density, built form of our commercial lands).
