LED is a juvenile and superficial method of animating urban spaces. Do the lights on West Pender Place and in front of the Flatiron make that section of street any less dead?
The city had put in considerable effort into minimizing light pollution, so having a 3000 square foot projection screen near the top of an office tower seems counter-intuitive to that.
