Sad to see 30 King E get razed. I once worked at Caesar's many many moons ago. The building was showing wear back then and I know it recently had serious flood damage from burst pipes while it sat vacant. Blanchard are generally good stewards of their building stock so I was thinking the hoarding was for restoration and not demolition.
When the buses left the Gore all the ped traffic went with it. A gap-tooth in the streetwall isn't going to help things for this stretch of King.
I am curious as to why this demo is being met with quiet acceptance while other demos on less significant downtown streets are met with a burst of online outrage.
