Heard some discouraging chatter this weekend about Lake Placid River Landing development. Apparently there are financing problems AGAIN!! A group of local investors supposedly have been having some discussions about how they can 'rescue' this project, but given the magnitude and scope of the deal, it seems this may be out of reach for just local money.

I hope this is all unfounded and that the discussion I heard was based on misinformation. It would be nice if we saw some construction action on the site to silence any questions about the project.
