I think the city needs to give North Edmonton some love pretty soon (and I mean more than a giant baseball bat), or this sort of thing will happen here, too. In ten years I fear the North Side could resemble a demilitarized zone between downtown and St Albert. Someone's previously posted idea about using some airport lands to connect the North to downtown using
BOTH LRT
AND a new road link would be a good start.
