Great news. Interesting debate about angle parking versus a median in making the street more freindly to alternative transportation. It was my impression (and personal experience) that medians improve perceptions of pedestrian friendliness (not on 22nd of course where it seems nothing would help). I also think angle parking is perhaps a little more dangerous for cyclists than parallel parking. However, I can also see the argument for more parking helping the downtown bussiness (it might also reduce the impetus for more surface lots).
