Sure, when it's a private business, trying to advertise on it's own and that someone on city council doesn't care for, flashing signs are against city bylaws, but when there's money to be made, erect one on every corner. Somehow, a couple of flashing lights was distracting for drivers, but giant grids of multi-colour flashing lights aren't. Yeah big city alright, I hate these signs, as I also hate the blue halogen lights available now.....
