Unfortunate, but unless laws are changed to allow preemptive extermination of rowdy drunken idiots, you're going to have to live with the collective punishment for the masses on the account of the irresponsible few.

Thanks for pointing that out; obviously making drinking in public illegal has not worked. Why waste police resource by having cops patrol crowds looking for citizens who are peacefully enjoying an alcoholic drink or two. Most people who drink wont cause a problem. The police should spend their time stopping violent offenses. You're right preemptive extermination of rowdy drunken idiots would be a solution.
