All the good intentions in the world are fine, but they won't change the fact that there remain huge barriers to improving the rail system in LA. Plus I'm guessing you wouldn't be too enthusiastic about merely upgrading the bus system.
And so just because I'm acknowledging the reality of transit in LA----unpleasant though it may be----doesn't make me feel sarcastic about ppl who are trying to change that situation.
