Chicago's Armitage-Halsted Historic District

(Note: I'll be updating/adding to the pics in this thread periodically)

The Armitage-Halsted Historic District is an 8-block commercial stretch in the SW corner of the Lincoln Park neighborhood in Chicago, running between Racine and Halsted, on the El's Brown-Line Armitage stop. Most of the buildings date between 1870-1900. The area is quite well preserved, though occasionally a bit worn, and has some great pressed tin & turret buildings.

From West to East, starting at the corner of Racine & Armitage; pics are mine from this week:
