There's a really bad fire in the Summerland area of the Central Okanagan right now. It started Friday night and exploded in growth over the last 24 hours. The entire town of Summerland has been evacuated. It's a monster that is growing at an insane rate. You can see the flames from downtown Kelowna at night.
There are a lot of homes, wineries and ranches out there. I'm hoping for the best, but it seems bleak right now.
