I am not sure about the destination traffic from Saskatchewan to NS either. WestJet have set YHZ up as a mini hub for their nine European seasonal flights though, operated by their Boeing 737 max 8’s. These flights from both Saskatoon and Regina were put in place to feed these European flights along with extra flights from Edmonton, Winnipeg, Vancouver, Calgary, Detroit and Toronto. This is based on the Icelandair model in Keflavik. I suspect aviation fuel prices have not helped in keeping these Saskatchewan routes operating.
