See my earlier comment. Mk 1 trains with the earliest livery aren't the oldest units on the system. The refurb of the initial units, that gave them the new blue/grey paint job didn't involve a total mechanical upgrade, so they're still the oldest on the system and therefore still likely to have issues warranting their replacement earlier in the program. Your comment seemed to indicate you thought the red/blue and yellow/blue were older than the blue/grey.
