Man, I don't know how your opinions are formed, but this is just a ridiculous statement to make. We have many dozens of MPs in Canada that are elected in part because of their espoused Christian faith. Christianity is by far the most dominant religion in Canada.
It's like saying that Quebecois and francophones "are less fashionable and revered than other ethnic and linguistic groups in Chicoutimi". You can say it. You can believe it. But that does not make it true, and the burden of proof lies with the person making the (frankly, ridiculous) assertion.
