Luxury condo building could replace Greenwich Village office space

A developer with a few other major projects in the works is planning to build a 30-story mixed-use tower in the place of what's now vacant office space near Union Square, records show.

Victor Sigoura of Legion Investment Group, based in Rockefeller Plaza, filed plans with the city last week to construct 36 dwelling units — likely condos — across 108,772 square feet of space, with retail on the ground floor, at 5 W. 13th St., according to permits filed with the Department of Buildings.
