I have seen many buildings in the study area that have rather bland exteriors but are gems on the inside. Marble / slate fireplaces, heavy trim mouldings, cherry oak floors and intricate newel posts.
Hopefully this study will wake up the development community and lead to greater preservation and recreation of lost architecture.
