This is why IBM and another unnamed company have confirmed that are looking to locate a facility close to this one. That doesn't really happen with data farms that I've seen.
Yeah, I shouldn't have labeled this a data farm......

This effort definitely goes beyond building a computer, and my hope is there can be enough inertia with the various activities to spur startups, etc. Time will tell on that though.

Either way, it's a great win for the South Side if they end up going with the Chicago Southside location.
