I think the main reason I hate this is because the prior proposal was so much better. I don't think it's actively ugly in a vacuum. Like if they plopped this down on Broadway or something I would think it was pretty OK. But knowing what could have been in such a prominent location just kills me. And even just compared to Hemisfair Hotel next door it's a relative turd.
