Sorry...I live Downtown. I frequent numerous places from Broad to Albert at all hours of the day at all times of the year. That is not an accurate description of Victoria Park.
Also, what? do we just let it fall into further decay or do we make efforts to start improving the downtown core and investing money in the heart of the City. I think thats what One Brick was implying. Lets invest. Investment brings improvement. Decay brings more problems. Urban Revitalization has been achieved in big and large cities all over North America.
Calgary is a great example with the -redevelopment of East Village, Kensington, and Inglewood etc. Same goes for sections of Saskatoon, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Vancouver, etc etc etc etc. If we can't compare Regina to other cities, what are we going to compare it too? Is Regina such an unique unicorn in all of North America that we should just keep bastardizing the downtown core and sprawling to oblivion?
