Great updates. Thanks.

You'd think they could have brushed the snow off for at least the commissioning ceremony.

Why? It melts relatively quickly in sunlight in the winter and frankly isn't worth the effort for the marginal gain in efficiency for how long the snow will be there.

I love the concept, but I drive by that every day and there have been so many days where the blades are not even moving.

This looks good. I sure hope it does what it promises. Help for women with addictions, mental health issues and victims of abuse is sorely needed in Regina. Even if you don't care that much about the marginalized this is a great investment in the future as the children of these women are destined to be burden on society if we don't help them early on. I expect a multi-million dollar cheque is on its way from Mosaic. Good for them.

I noticed that the fully renovated former Quality Inn (Where Memories is located) did not reopen in time for Grey Cup and presumably Agribition. Too bad for them. I believe it is to be a Courtyard Marriot. It was supposed to be open earlier this year. This is from Oct. 2021.

Agreed! I’m so happy about this project and for the community.

Heard they were severely behind schedule with delays.

With it getting dark earlier I'm starting to notice the few remaining places with low pressure sodium lighting is City of Regina properties. Parks, community centre and sport facility parking lots. SaskPower replaced nearly every streetlight in the entire city in just a few years. The provincial government updated their properties (Wascana Park, Sask Poly etc). But the city itself has done practically nothing.

Just saw a tender looking for a firm to design a widening of the Ring Road to 3 lanes between Dewdney and Ross in both direction and update the ramps.

Design tenders for next year's construction projects should start popping up over the next month.
