What's with these constant redesigns? I feel the chances of the designs improving are small whenever they change. And if they do change to something good, they end up changing again, just like this one.

The previous iteration was at least cohesive in its eclectic-ness. This time, it seems that they tried to take a more-restrained design and spice it up in a way that really doesn't work.

I don't hate it. I like the vertical lines. The balconies are a little perplexing, though.

It's better. The lines are a good addition, but every signature building needs something distinctive (particularly at the top) and I'm not seeing it. It needs... a lighting feature? A crown of some kind. But not that bottle opener shape they had on there before.

The top portion looks almost EXACTLY like the W. Disconcertingly so.

I am wondering when the whole design trend of random spacing will fade away. Apparently not yet.

I like it better. The design is more cohesive between the hotel & residential parts which is nice. The only interesting thing about the previous iteration was the "crown" but that wasn't even very impressive. I kinda prefer the flat top on this one tbh.

Towers tarted up the images from the original twitter post. Not bad.

Even with the loss of that crest, this thing is going to be very recognizable on the skyline.

idk guys... I like it. I think it's pretty cool how the glass will give the appearance of being 6-story tall windows. And Page knows what they're doing. I would imagine the section above the top two penthouse corner balconies will be a lit crown.

The 3rd time is definitely the charm. I hated the first rendering, was ok with the 2nd because it was a huge improvement and love the 3rd and agree about the vertical stripes.

Both designs are kind of meh. The vertical lines on this one are nice, but so were the horizontal lines on the last one. Losing the crown in the new version is very disappointing. The crown did need some work though. The asymmetry wasn't really working.

C'est la vie.

The Marriott and the Four Seasons always seemed somewhat tallish to me...until now.

I still like the second design by far. Especially those horizontal lines. The crown isn't spectacular but it would have added a nice little variation to the skyline, overall. This redesign is just another block. We already have two blocks going up like this. The Ritz and The Modern. This one is kinda boring.

They are, compared to the CC. The plateau of 400' that we used to complain about isn't an issue anymore.

I went to Micheladas (For 5/5) and not only was it DEAD (and non-celebratory), but the waitress said they're closing and moving to 6th street next week as the joint is closing. This project may be imminent... and I like the new design.

For a building this large I would have expected they'd be able to fit more than 125 units. Shouldn't a full city block be able to house at least 500 - 1000 people each?

It's less than half a block, actually.
