I’ve seen some lists put the BOA in Atlanta at 1,023 feet. I’ve also seen 1,060 used for it too. Those plus your 1,040 feet.

I’m inclined to go with your number Kevin because you’re a perfectionist at getting building heights. Which makes you very trustworthy. But if BOA really is 1,023 feet then Austin’s building at 1,030 will have it beat by 7 feet which is so cool!
If both Austin and Dallas can get a supertall built, then TX will move ahead of CA with 3 cities. TBH, if the one in Austin gets built then CA and TX are tied, and TX would have the greater potential of adding a 3rd city to the ranks since SD, SJ, and OAK all have height limits or build short and Sacramento, Fresno, and Bakersfield don’t have the demand or also have serious height limits.
