I believe it will be a new “social house atmosphere” type restaurant opening up by a brother sister team. I’m trying to find more info. Wayne Mantyka tweeted about it.

Any updates regarding the Cooperators new head office renovations? Pics?

Also, do we know yet what hotel is being built just south of the airport?

Bizarrely, it appear the new main floor and Mezz windows do not match the upper floors on Cooperators.

Yep, and it's definitely noticeable. I'm wondering if they plan on replacing everything at some point?

Good to hear. They definitely needed a new building.

They do, but the Taj Mahal they're building is a bit obscene.

Yeah we discussed this awhile back, it's embarrassing.

Meh, they're adding a whole bunch of functionality to their new plans that they weren't able to do beforehand at their current location. I'm not bothered by it - it's a good development that'll benefit the city as a whole.

I noticed Dutch Growers announced this morning on their Instagram Story that they're moving locations. They bought the Paisely driving range location, right?

Makes up for all the years in the old shithole. I take it you've never been out there much?

I checked with the Regina Humane Society to verify that construction on the new facilities has not started. It may be a couple of years yet before they do.
What you are seeing along Parliament Avenue is a new hotel, which I had commented on previously.

That hotel I think you're referencing is well along and closer to Co-op. The construction that has started up in the past couple of weeks is right up close to the apartments on Parliament, right where there was a re-zoning sign to allow the Humane Society to go forward. If it's not them, someone's stolen their spot, unless it's just utility work?

Is it the NW corner of the empty lot by the apartments? SARCAN is building a new facility there.

I have no issue with them having a new facility. I object to the idea that they need a facility the size of Winnipeg's at 1/3 the size.

I've been out there, it's been shit since the 90s when I started going there. Does change anything I said though.
