Depends on the wind direction. Loveday shares their stench with the entire city it seems. Nice of them...

If we insist on waiting for something bigger than WEM's waterpark, then 100 years from now people will still be having this conversation. Do it in biteable chunks.
My understanding is that the City of Winnipeg does not intend to ever build another pool, with the exception of a few complete reconstructions of existing outdoor pools that are basically inoperable right now. They don't want the ongoing maintenance and operation costs on the books. The city is planning to contribute some money to a new complex in Waverley West which would include a YMCA as part of a new high school and potentially a library. Hopefully they will get creative with that pool and include some water park features.

On many occasions the fragrant aroma of Loveday can be felt in several areas.
How lucky are we that the unmistakable fragrant Fungi can be noticed Downtown as it was last Saturday night.
Sometimes I can smell it in Crescentwood / Fort Rouge where I reside.
It can be noticed many times on my way to East Kildonan and and Transcona.
Here is an idea? Perhaps AirWick or Glade can bottle it and sell it, since it is so lovely?
It is a revolting vomitous stench that usually makes u want to lose the lunch you had the day prior.
They need to be relocated out of a growing city especially since they are on land so close to the city centre.
Sick & Tired of that rotting feces like smell.
Time for them to leave. At the very least, they should be forced by the city to add better ventilating equipment in order to remain there.

Am I the only one who doesn't mind that smell? And I'm not even particularly fond of eating mushrooms either.

Oh man. I have always wondered if there is anything you don't like! This confirms the answer.

It's not the mushrooms that make the smell. It's the literal sh*t they are grown in.

Loveday actually composts bales of hay and use that as the base for growing mushrooms. Now, how much 🞵🞵🞵🞵 they mix in it, I don't know.

I believe that Sherbrook is scheduled for paving in 2017 from Cumberland Ave to McDermot Ave so it may be geotech work.

Sad to see the home at Kate and McDermot being torn down. Hopefully something great is taking its place. Have a bit of a personal fondness for homes between the Exchange and McPhillips even though I never lived there.
