Bill Mah
Edmonton Journal

Thursday, November 07, 2013

Kingsway-area businesses faced an identity crisis of sorts.

The City Centre Airport, which has long anchored the business district's economy and marketing, is closing its last runway at the end of the month.

So the Kingsway District Association launched a rebranding Wednesday that focuses on another of the area's strengths that has never been marketed until now - its abundance of medical, health and wellness services...

Alberta Venture Urban Issue

I just received the current Alberta Venture magazine at work today. There is a focus on urban development in Alberta. You can find some of the articles online: http://albertaventure.com/

Its nice to see this topic getting attention from a broader audience, not just the arch and dev people.

^It has nothing to do with bait and switch. Procura, after buying out the partners that started Phase 1 and 2 of CP, has made the decision to revise the overall master plan which they have every right to do.

^^^ No shit they have the right. It doesn't mean it's not a shitty-looking product that they're now foisting on the city, and their rights to do so doesn't trump our rights to be annoyed by it or to complain about it.

Ha, if you think this is an 'Edmontonism' you're out to lunch. You're going to have to do better than that.
