The failure of a concrete piling wall days before the cancellation of the Ardea strata building was announced can’t have been a coincidence. After all, when your construction site is flooded by the Fraser River, its budget is probably deep underwater too
I'm working a retail space (8590 River District Crossing) tomorrow morning. Worked on many Parcels for a period 3 to 4 years, its going to bring back memories.
I will check out Lake Ardea, anything esle worth taking pictures of? I'll take a good look around, a nice day tomorrow.

DPMA RE: Due to below-grade challenges, the parkade required a redesign on Level P1 and minor modifications on the lower parking levels. The structural design of the parkade remains unchanged. The purpose of this submission is strictly to the updated parking statistics; increased vehicle and bicycle parking.

Looks like Ardea was on the far west end of the site across from Kinross Middle Park.
Yeah, once again I did not inform myself of the area of the Ardea site was, the night before.

I live in the area and I’ve only experienced midges (which do not bite) while walking along the river trail. They are harmless but can be annoying. I’ve never been bitten by or even remember seeing a mosquito. They are basically non-existent.
