It’s all factual. He provides a lot more information than you. Do you just come on here to start trouble for one post and you don’t provide anything on here. Without him this thread would be nothing so appreciate things.

The canola fields reek of roundup this time of year. Thinking about stuff that's too big to get in a shot I remembered there is an optional wide angle lens for the drone that gives it a fixed zoom of 0.67 increasing the view area by 25%. I'll see if I can track one down as the ones for the mini 3 are out of production.
Thank you for posting these photos. This is so great. Keep on posting them and thank you.

Apparently the stench of Canola is all natural (not sarcasm). That user just chose an incoherent and rude way to point that out. They hadn't posted in 4 years, probably had to do a password reset just to flame me

Visited several places in the east: https://www.flickr.com/photos/regina...7720325409071/ Starting to add metal siding to the first water reservoir. Neville Drive apartments started last year getting parking lot paved. The condo project is getting the basement concrete poured and shoring setup to start the first floor. Arens Road extension west of Chuka started, not working on the full distance to Woodland Grove yet but still might happen this year.

I rode on the newly rubber surfaced path along Prince of Wales between just south of Truesdale up to Arens Road. A little spongy, and slower rolling than asphalt but not too bad. No idea why they did that instead of asphalt in that spot.

Some people are just like that they can’t help themselves apparently I think you can block him or whatever it is. Thank you again for the photos.

Is this going to be a full long interchange?

I think its going to be an oval in the middle to turn, accelerate and decelerate with additional lanes on the Grand Coulee side for a right in - right out.

If you wanted to go toward Regina from the Grand Coulee road you would turn west move left to the loop, swing around and accelerate onto the eastbound lanes. To go to Grand Coulee from Moose Jaw you would move left, decelerate and swing around for the right turn north.

I wonder if they are going to drop the #1 speed there.

Of course they are. It'd be a perfect little area for the RCs to get some of that sweet fine money.

Thank you so much for the information. Much appreciated.

gecho111 maybe if you have time if you could go to the other industrial parks with some drone shots that would be great thank you so much

Regina's industrial sector steady as inventory grows
The establishment of the Cargill plant has already spurred investment, leading to the purchase of over 400 acres near the hub and improvements in rail and road infrastructure. This underscores Regina’s growing importance as a logistics and industrial centre, attracting further business and fostering economic vitality.

Interesting because of the Cargill plant , 400 more acres of land have been purchased unbelievable , makes one wonder what are they planning .

In the city? Anything in particular you are interested in? They don't tend to change much year to year so Google Maps / Earth should be fairly current. The one north of Emerald Park mostly empty has gone years without a new build.

I just noticed Google Earth (not Maps) has imagery from 2.5 WEEKS ago if you click the clock timeline icon, so right up to date for everything close to the city. Though the updated imagery stops just before the Cargill plant.

Emerald Park cardlock from Google, might be starting on the earth work for the business park there.

The path of the un-treated water pipeline where it crossed Inland Drive this year is visible. Its headed over towards the rail crossing on Fleet Street north of the dump. I think the big square is where the Viterra plant was supposed to go. I guess they didn't lease the land to a farmer to grow a crop.

The full expansion area for Westerra. The diagonal area between the park and houses is for a business park, also future alignment for Courtney Ave so they can extend it to Sherwood Drive without adding traffic to Dieppe. One thing I like about Google Earth is it gives ground and view altitudes so I can pre-plan a drone shot. This particular view of Westerra would require me to fly 1300 meters up to get, well beyond the 120 m max altitude.

Looks like the transit barn expansion has begun. Supposedly tons of contamination there from old refinery, just build over it!

So where is Costco going (most likely) in that Westerra shot. Next to Omagakii in the top left?

Yes, that's the location in the public notice from last year. https://www.regina.ca/export/sites/R...f-Decision.pdf

I can’t find a plan drawing for this anywhere on the provincial website. Does anyone know where I could find the pdf drawings of the project?

I couldn't find anything before but I did some internet sleuthing. I found mention of survey that closed in 2021 with a dead url to the saskatchewan.ca website. Wayback machine had a cache of the site from back then, but the images are quite low and videos are no longer on youtube. https://web.archive.org/web/20240213...e-intersection

My guess was completely wrong. What is in place now is pretty much what it will look like minus a small roundabout north of the #1. They called the design offset lefts. So you will still turn left across the #1 just the lefts will be in different spots. Coming from the west to go north you turn left west of the current road and following the curved road to the roundabout. Coming from the north to go east into Regina you follow the curved road and turn left east of the current road.

I drew what it should look like in the openstreetmap editor so the arrows are easier to see.

A few shots of the north Albert deck pour. The second half is tomorrow night so I may head over later than tonight to see if I can catch the trowelling gantry in use (after watching sped up video I noticed they had started using it).
