Regarding the picture of the panels -- maybe they'll be painted afterward?

And I agree, they really should've included some form of retail

I can’t really say for sure but from a certain light at a certain angle there seems to be a bronze-like glimmer from the panels. The health building across the street has those lovely copper panels. Mac does things well. I think it’s aluminum paneling with a gold-ish finish but it’s too early to say. Tough to get a good look. However if you stand on the south west corner of King and Bay it’s easy to get a feel of the public space. I have a feeling this will be the nicest tower in town for some time to come.

I drove by tonight, I really hope this isn't the final color of these panels.

I was by earlier today and they definitely have a gold to them, especially in the sun light.

My eyes are not what they once were but around the 12th or 13 floor it appears to be one of those higher ceiling floors. Can someone confirm or do I need new cheaters.

Yes am aware of floor 9 but another floor 12 to 16 appears higher too. Sorry couldnt narrow it down but the pedestrian bridge over king obscured my view...have a look further up see what you think

It definitely looks that way. I've been calling it floor 8 that is taller, so it looks to me like floor 15 is taller.

Edit: just went to look at the drawings for this building, and sure enough floor 9 is 3700mm and floor 16 is 3100mm while almost all the other floors are 2800mm. Level 29 is 2950mm and floor 30 is 3300mm. Suspicions confirmed I guess (and clarification on which floors are which). This also means they are currently constructing floor 21 of 30 right now.

Floor "15":

I don't think I've seen any windows yet, and no additional cladding since those few bronze panels a week or two ago. Will take a look in the afternoon.

You are right, hard to see that section of the building right now from a good angle. Thanks for the pics
I'll get a closer look on my walk.

Edit: saw them on my walk, and they look good. Curious when we'll see a more substantial amount of cladding. I noticed they've been wrapping some of the concrete with blue skin so likely more coming soon. I'm always curious what constrains the installation of cladding and windows, though I've definitely noticed that installing cladding before the actual tower is done is normal.

Here's another shot of window, from Sunday per Joe.

I also saw the first windows installed last weekend at 1 Jarvis (SE corner of that building) but didn't get a photo.

I'm really excited for more cladding to be installed. Looks like it's going to be a nice building when it's done.

I'm nicknaming it the Trump tower, because of the gold, and because it's YUUUUUUGE.

Way back in 2004-2005 in SSP, there was just me and realcity that came from Hamilton. Anyways, I remember realcity drew a proposed building at this corner of Bay/King for a high-rise, and it was all gold, and he called it the Golden Horseshoe building. Perhaps it was fate that this corner would have a golden facade.
