Jeez, spectacular Kamloops scenery shots! Will be nice to see Kamloops grow in tandem with Kelowna even if slower, will make that whole region a destination not just for scenery and the great outdoors but urban attractions as well.

Nice colourful St. John’s photos - it makes me think the city is Victoria’s sister from another Mister, different, but..

Finally, Saint John! Made me heart skip a beat there, lol, as it did when I first visited there. No doubt the most underrated city in Canada with potential if all goes well to be one of the country’s best.

Past couple of weeks in Victoria in chronological order. A couple of these were shared recently under skyline photos.

Inner Harbour - August 27, 2024 by JohnnyJayEh, on Flickr

I’ve taken to doing a bit of research into the buildings and homes I find interesting, thus a bit more detail in the description.

And went for a walk yesterday and it was such a lovely Sunday morning that I just on going around part of the inner harbour and got some colourful pics. With the narrow entrance to the harbour downtown and area form a sort of circle around the water making it enjoyable walking experience with plenty of views and stops along the way. I didn’t hit the Songhees side nor the mega yacht marina on that side as I was already up to three hours, but there is a couple shots of the ‘skyline’ from there in the pics above.

Now to Red Fish Blue Fish on the docks (always massive lineups, the best fish and chips and other seafood in Victoria and often listed in the best of fish and chips for Canada.)

How’s this for an airport restaurant? There is another one right beside it and both are open to the public, not just passengers.

The Royal Air Force Red Arrows just finished their Canadian tour in St. John's. I think they only did Montreal east, as far as I can tell, but had an extra stop in Toronto.

Anyhow, a few pics from FB...

St. John's

Toronto

Montreal

Oh, and Niagara Falls

The green roofs and the new mural really pop on a grey Rimouski day! Nice photo.

Thanks giallo, glad you enjoyed them! When people think of colourful cities in Canada they tend to forget about Victoria. And I don’t just mean the politics, lol.
