Anshun City is known as the "belly of Guizhou, throat of Yunnan, and lips and teeth of Sichuan and Guangdong".
It is an important growth pole in the central Guizhou economic zone and an important central city in the central Guizhou urban agglomeration.
It is a historical and cultural city in Guizhou Province, with unique historical and cultural relics such as the Cave Culture, Yelang Culture, Cuan Culture, and Tunpu Culture; The area of scenic spots in the city accounts for more than 12% of the total area.
