Azul is a typical town of those that abound in the Province of Buenos Aires, with wide streets and old buildings one or two storeys high. However, it has several multi-storey buildings.
It was declared Argentina's "City of Cervantes" by UNESCO in 2007, since it has one of the most important "Don Quixote" collections outside of Spain. |
