Neunkirchen (Siegerland), translated as "Nine Churches" in English, is a municipality in the district of Siegen-Wittgenstein. It's situated on the River Heller approximately 10 km south of the town of Siegen, and consists of a total of six settlements including Neunkirchen town. For many years, this municipality was an important mining center for the mining of iron ore.
