Shenzhen Bay Financial Center Tower broke the national record for the depth of civil building foundation pits with a 42.35 meter ultra deep foundation pit, becoming the engineering benchmark on the "Super Cross" axis of the Shenzhen Bay Super Headquarters Base.
The project adopts the design concept of "Top of Pengyue", and the tower shape is inspired by the spreading of Kunpeng's wings: the main body of the building naturally twists as it rises in height, and the facade simulates the texture of feathers with gradient metal plates, presenting a shimmering and flowing feeling under the interweaving of sunlight and sea breeze. It not only echoes the coastal characteristics of Shenzhen Bay, but also symbolizes the urban spirit of "daring to explore, daring to try, and standing at the forefront of the tide" with an upward soaring posture.
Start on 2014 with a 600 meters tall project but became to cancelled on 2017 http://skyscraperpage.com/cities/?buildingID=102921 at the middle of 2019 restart with a 304 meters tall concept, construction works start on august of 2019.
