Analysis of stability and structural safety on 2011: Hoyu Mexicana, S.A. de C.V.
-Complex of 3 adjacent buildings with 15 floors (Main, 13 residential, services, mechanical) The original modern facade projected on 1957 was covered with marcolite panels, was totally replaced on the remodeling of 1980, a couple years later was reinforced into their foundations but was damaged on 85's earthquakes, on 1989 was reinforced for stabilization purposes with big new columns, now have 15 floors (service level was demolished).
-These buildings have some innovations on them, like a non-orthogonal arrangement of 30 cm thick concrete slabs that allows big clear spaces.
-The elevators that only opens every three floors (3,6,9,12).
-This building was site of the infamous attach of October 2nd of 1968, from this and the ISSSTE 11 building came the shots to citizens & the army, many people die.
Info to editors: contents of http://www.cuauhtemoc.df.gob.mx/nontlate.pdf don't shows the tall of the entire structure, just cover the roof of the 14th level, but also are another level who was built for rooms of servants and a level for elevators machines (now destroyed but perimetral walls preserved), it's impossible for the building to have only 41meters tall (just main roof), at least 2.5m more on facades and room of machines for elevators.
