Description • Architect: Leone Tommasi.
• Base diameter: 100 m
• This monument was been built in honor of Eva Peron, and had to contain her tomb.
• Construction began in 1955 and stopped the same year, due to the overthrow of president Perón, who had proposed. After that, the work was destroyed and dynamited.
• The 16 statues of the pedestal were beheaded and thrown into the Riachuelo. Some were rescued.
