Chengdu Greenland Center is a large super high-rise complex located in Jinjiang District, Chengdu, inspired by the shape of Sichuan's snow capped mountains and glaciers
The project started construction in 2012 and is planned to be a "vertical business complex" integrating 5A office buildings, super five-star hotels, administrative mansions, and sightseeing functions, with a total investment of approximately 12 billion yuan
Due to funding issues with the developer, the project has been suspended multiple times. It is expected to resume work in April 2025 and be completed by 2027
After completion, it will become the tallest building in Southwest China and promote the development of cultural and creative industries in the eastern new city of Chengdu
