Demolition of previous structures starts on late 2015, on early days of 2016 pre-foundations works start up, on june of 2016 change name to "Impera Reforma" instead "Torre del Angel II" , on september of 2016 the construction works starts with the peripherial underground concrete walls. On march of 2019 with mostly of foundation's works advanced, by non clear claims from city mayor Sheinbaum the permisions became to cancelled. A new design with 8 floors less was announced on November of 2019 and the project decreases from 215 to 170 meters tall (aproximate), on February of 2021 was announced a change on the "approved" project to 44 floors.
