New render angle that I don't believe was posted here, I really hope they use real brick here, I actually really like the podium design:

funny showing a nice looking park where the YMCA is. I mean, I get they had to remove it to show the whole building, but just leave it as a grass lot or something instead of showing a non-existent park with benches and trees..

Stock image that they updated with the render and a little Hamilton background?

Most of the buildings on the far right and far left do not exist and are not planned. They have the courthouse in there, and HSBC, but everything else looks like image filler.

And I love the brick too. This will hopefully look really nice from street level.

I really like this!

The black building on the far right looks like the Stelco Tower at a lower height and also wrong location

We've got a crane footing. It's up and to the left of the excavator in the shade of the hole.

I'm guessing it is 5 floors below the street and there is room for a second crane!

It's 4 levels, but I agree we may see a second crane. Hard to tell for sure.

Very excited to see this actually get built.

Maybe i'll take some aerial shots this weekend. I'd like to know how far they are on the foundation.

Great to see the progress here. Hoping it encourages others to moves things along. Wonder if the BMO/Gowlings site has an owner with a vision for intensification, repurpose, and preservation.

I do really like the podium, but then it turns into a spandrel mess above.

Would be nice if developers used materials that weren't glass to cover the concrete structure...
